A quick and easy recipe for freshly baked bread in an air fryer with a nice crust and soft inside.
Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 3/4 cup warm water
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- Herbs, cheese, or nuts for added flavor
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
- Slowly add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
- Stir until the dough comes together. Knead it gently on a floured surface for a couple of minutes until smooth.
- If desired, add herbs, cheese, or nuts into the dough for extra flavor.
- Shape the dough into a round loaf or your preferred shape.
- Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
- Place the dough in the air fryer basket, ensuring space around it for air circulation.
- Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
- Check for doneness, cooking in 2-minute increments if necessary.
- Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing.
Notes
Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
