Description

A quick and easy recipe for freshly baked bread in an air fryer with a nice crust and soft inside.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 tablespoon baking powder
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 tablespoon sugar
  • 3/4 cup warm water
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Herbs, cheese, or nuts for added flavor

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl, mix the flour, baking powder, salt, and sugar.
  2. Slowly add the warm water and olive oil to the dry ingredients.
  3. Stir until the dough comes together. Knead it gently on a floured surface for a couple of minutes until smooth.
  4. If desired, add herbs, cheese, or nuts into the dough for extra flavor.
  5. Shape the dough into a round loaf or your preferred shape.
  6. Preheat your air fryer to 350°F (175°C).
  7. Place the dough in the air fryer basket, ensuring space around it for air circulation.
  8. Cook for about 15-20 minutes or until golden brown and sounds hollow when tapped.
  9. Check for doneness, cooking in 2-minute increments if necessary.
  10. Let the bread cool for a few minutes before slicing.

Notes

Store leftover bread in an airtight container at room temperature for up to three days or freeze for up to three months.
