- 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1/3 cup granulated sugar
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon cornstarch
- 2 tablespoons water
- 1 can refrigerated biscuit dough (8 biscuits)
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, melt 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter over medium heat. Add the diced apples, 1/3 cup granulated sugar, and 1 teaspoon cinnamon. Sauté for 4-5 minutes until the apples soften.

- Open the biscuit dough and separate into individual biscuits. Flatten each to about 1/4-inch thickness.
- Place a tablespoon of the cooled apple filling in the center of each biscuit, fold and pinch to seal.
- Dip each ball in melted butter, then roll in a mixture of 1 cup granulated sugar and 1 tablespoon ground cinnamon.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes until golden brown.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving warm.
Notes
For a golden sheen, brush with egg wash before baking. To elevate the flavor, use a mix of sweet and tart apples.
