A delicious and visually striking milkshake featuring a unique dark color and creamy vanilla ice cream.
Ingredients
- 2 cups vanilla ice cream
- 1 cup whole milk (or alternative milk)
- 2 tablespoons activated charcoal powder or black cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons chocolate syrup (optional)
- whipped cream (for topping)
- sprinkles or crushed cookies (for garnish)
Instructions
- In a blender, combine the vanilla ice cream, whole milk, activated charcoal powder (or black cocoa powder), and chocolate syrup (if using).
- Blend on high until smooth and creamy, about 30 seconds.
- Taste and adjust sweetness if needed; add more chocolate syrup if desired.
- Pour the milkshake into tall glasses.
- Top each milkshake with whipped cream and add sprinkles or crushed cookies for garnish. Serve with a straw or a long spoon.
Notes
Black milkshake is best enjoyed fresh. If you have leftovers, store in an airtight container in the freezer and let it sit at room temperature to soften before serving.
