Ingredients

  • 1 cup unsalted butter, softened
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 8 ounces cream cheese, softened
  • 1/2 cup powdered sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract


Instructions

  1. Prepare the Cheesecake Filling: In a bowl, mix the cream cheese, powdered sugar, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract until smooth. Set aside.
  2. Preheat the Oven: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Make the Cookie Dough: In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until light and fluffy. Beat in the eggs and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: In another bowl, whisk together the flour, cocoa powder, baking soda, and salt. Gradually add this to the butter mixture, mixing until just combined.
