Instructions

  1. Activate the Yeast: In a bowl, combine warm milk and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.
  2. Mix Dry Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the flour, sugar, and salt.
  3. Combine Ingredients: Make a well in the center of the dry ingredients and add the activated yeast mixture and eggs. Mix until the dough begins to come together.
  4. Incorporate Butter: Gradually add the softened butter, kneading the dough until smooth and elastic (around 10 minutes).
  5. First Rise: Place the kneaded dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place until it doubles in size (1-2 hours).
