Description

A delightful dish combining rich garlic flavors with shrimp and a creamy sauce, perfect for quick weeknight dinners or special occasions.

Ingredients

  • 8 oz pasta (spaghetti or linguine)
  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Cook the pasta according to package instructions; drain and set aside.
  2. In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat.
  3. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  4. Add the shrimp, season with salt and pepper, and cook until they turn pink (about 2-3 minutes per side).
  5. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.
  6. Stir in the Parmesan cheese until melted and the sauce thickens.
  7. Add the cooked pasta to the skillet, tossing to coat with the sauce.
  8. Serve warm, garnished with fresh parsley.

Notes

Don’t overcook the shrimp; only cook until just pink. Use freshly grated Parmesan for the best flavor. Adding lemon juice can brighten the flavor.
