- 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 4 large eggs
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and line a 9×13-inch baking pan with parchment paper.
- Melt the unsalted butter over low heat in a medium saucepan, then stir in the granulated sugar until well combined.
- Add the eggs one at a time, mixing thoroughly after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Sift together the all-purpose flour, unsweetened cocoa powder, salt, and baking powder in a separate bowl.
