Ingredients
- 1 pound shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- Salt and pepper to taste
- Chopped parsley for garnish
- Cooked pasta or rice for serving
Instructions
- In a large skillet, melt the butter over medium heat.
- Add the minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Increase the heat to medium-high and add the shrimp. Cook until pink and opaque, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Pour in the heavy cream and stir to combine. Bring to a simmer.
- Add the Parmesan cheese and stir until melted and smooth. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
- Serve over cooked pasta or rice and garnish with chopped parsley.
Notes
Do not overcook the shrimp, use fresh garlic for the best flavor, and consider adding red pepper flakes for some extra heat.
