Description

A quick and easy garlic shrimp dish that brings Mediterranean flavors to your table in 20 minutes or less.


Ingredients

  • 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
  • Lemon wedges for serving


Instructions

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
  3. Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
  4. Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
  5. Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
  6. Serve with lemon wedges on the side.

Notes

Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to prevent toughness. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
