A quick and easy garlic shrimp dish that brings Mediterranean flavors to your table in 20 minutes or less.
Ingredients
- 1 pound large shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 teaspoon red pepper flakes (optional)
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tablespoons fresh parsley, chopped
- Lemon wedges for serving
Instructions
- Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
- Add minced garlic and red pepper flakes (if using). Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the shrimp to the skillet. Season with salt and pepper.
- Cook the shrimp for about 2-3 minutes on each side until they are pink and opaque.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with fresh parsley.
- Serve with lemon wedges on the side.
Notes
Make sure not to overcook the shrimp to prevent toughness. Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
