Description

Delightfully spooky donuts that combine fluffy texture with a crispy exterior, perfect for Halloween parties.


Ingredients

  • 2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup melted butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • Oil for frying
  • Powdered sugar for glazing
  • Chocolate syrup or icing for decoration


Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix together the flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk the eggs, then add milk, melted butter, and vanilla extract.
  3. Combine the wet and dry ingredients until just mixed.
  4. Heat oil in a deep pan to 350°F (175°C).
  5. Using a spoon or donut cutter, drop the batter into the hot oil in donut shapes. Fry until golden brown on each side.
  6. Remove from oil and drain on paper towels.
  7. Let cool slightly and then dip in powdered sugar and drizzle with chocolate syrup or icing for decoration.
