Description

A quick and flavorful dinner featuring shrimp in a sweet and savory honey garlic sauce served over rice or quinoa with broccoli.

Ingredients

  • 1 lb shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 1/4 cup honey
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 teaspoon ginger, grated
  • 2 cups cooked rice or quinoa
  • 1 cup broccoli florets
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped

Instructions

  1. In a bowl, mix honey, soy sauce, garlic, and ginger to create the sauce.
  2. Heat olive oil in a pan over medium heat.
  3. Add shrimp to the pan and cook until pink, about 2-3 minutes per side.
  4. Pour the honey garlic sauce over the shrimp and cook for an additional 2 minutes.
  5. In another pot, steam the broccoli until tender.
  6. Serve the shrimp over cooked rice or quinoa, topped with steamed broccoli and green onions.

Notes

Use fresh shrimp for the best flavor. Add more vegetables for extra nutrition and consider red pepper flakes for heat.
