Ingredients

  • 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, well softened
  • 8 ounces pumpkin-flavored cream cheese (about 1 cup)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
  • 4-5 cups powdered sugar


Instructions

  1. Beat the softened unsalted butter until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
  2. Add half of the pumpkin-flavored cream cheese to the butter and beat until fully incorporated.
  3. Add the remaining pumpkin cream cheese, along with vanilla extract and fine sea salt; blend until smooth.
  4. Gradually incorporate 2 cups of powdered sugar, blending until no powder remains.
  5. Add 2 more cups of powdered sugar and blend until smooth.
  6. Check the frosting consistency and add more powdered sugar if needed, one tablespoon at a time.

Notes

Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother mix. Sift powdered sugar to prevent lumps. Adjust consistency gradually.
