Ingredients
- 6 tablespoons unsalted butter, well softened
- 8 ounces pumpkin-flavored cream cheese (about 1 cup)
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
- 4-5 cups powdered sugar
Instructions
- Beat the softened unsalted butter until it reaches a smooth and creamy consistency.
- Add half of the pumpkin-flavored cream cheese to the butter and beat until fully incorporated.
- Add the remaining pumpkin cream cheese, along with vanilla extract and fine sea salt; blend until smooth.
- Gradually incorporate 2 cups of powdered sugar, blending until no powder remains.
- Add 2 more cups of powdered sugar and blend until smooth.
- Check the frosting consistency and add more powdered sugar if needed, one tablespoon at a time.
Notes
Use room temperature ingredients for a smoother mix. Sift powdered sugar to prevent lumps. Adjust consistency gradually.
