Description
Fun and spooky Rice Krispies treats perfect for Halloween or themed parties.
Ingredients
- 4 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 10 oz mini marshmallows
- 6 cups Rice Krispies cereal
- Pink or red food coloring (optional)
- Edible glitter or sprinkles (optional)
Instructions
- Grease a brain-shaped mold with butter or cooking spray.
- In a large pot, melt the butter over low heat and stir in the mini marshmallows until smooth.
- If desired, mix in a few drops of food coloring to the melted marshmallow mixture.
- Remove from heat and add the Rice Krispies, stirring to coat well.
- Press the mixture firmly into the greased mold and pack down well.
- Allow to cool completely before gently removing from the mold.
Notes
Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for 2-3 days. Best enjoyed the day they are made.
